Just a Random Ode to ER (and television, apparently)
Everytime the Season 7 episode “A Walk in the Woods” comes on, I stop whatever I’m doing and watch the opening scene, because in my opinion, it is one of the single best ER moments. For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, it includes Benton and Cleo waking up together, Greene talking to Corday and their unborn child, Weaver and Legaspi in the early morning, and Abby and Luka talking after having made love. There are so many things I love about this scene, hell, so many things about each segment of the scene, but I think my favorite is the conversation that Abby and Luka have;
Abby: You watch me when we make love.
Luka: You’re beautiful.
Abby: What was her name?
Luka: Who?
Abby: Your wife.
Luka: Daniella.
Abby: Did you love her very much?
Luka: Yeah.
Abby: I’m glad.
